Doctor who

      Are you a Sci-Fi nerd or geek? Or maybe you want to know a new show to watch that is thrilling and exciting? Well..... I bring you Doctor Who!!!!!

  Doctor Who is a Science Fiction (sci-fi) show. It is about a time lord who travels through time and space in a police box that he calls the T.A.R.D.I.S, which stands for Time And Relevant Dimensions In Space. The show first started in 1963. A few of the first episodes in the classic series were in historical places such as Aztec times.

  The classic series has 26 seasons in all. The series was aired from 1963-1989. Then in about 2005, BBC decided to do a modern version of the old series, this time just called Doctor Who. The new series has only 9 seasons so far. Some of the actors and actresses that have played in this show are: Christoper Eccleston, Billie Piper, David Tennent, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman. Karen Gillian, and many more amazing actors.

   Some of the aliens the Doctor and his companions face off with are Weeping Angels, Daleks, and Cybermen. There are others but these are the ones that appear on the show over and over.

   Weeping Angels are stone statues that when they touch you they send you back in time and you can't get back to your original time frame. These angels can't move if you are looking at them. So if you blink or turn around they will move towards you.

  Daleks are robots in a way. I mean that because they have these squid looking thing inside them, which is what they are. Anyway, Daleks are Time Lords are enemies. They have a plunger looking thing on them they use to hack into computer systems. They also have a whisk looking thing as well which they use to kill people. They shout "Exterminate" when ever the kill someone.

  Cybermen are robots that used to be human. The Cybermen strip humans of their emotions. Their weapon is in their hands,  the use the hands to shock people to death. They are very human looking. What the are known for saying is "You will be upgraded" or "Delete, delete".
 

  Each time the Doctor dies (or any time lord) he regenerates. The Time Lords only get 13 regenerations each. The Doctor is on his last regeneration with Peter Capaldi as the Doctor. The Master is another Time Lord. According to the show, he is out of regenerations and so he keeps stealing bodies so he can satay alive.
